I rolled off the couch around 7:30 this morning, which was at least somewhat early. After doing my morning tasks, I headed back downstairs to work on school. Today was unusual in that I never really took any break. Besides quick breaks for food, and a couple of miscellaneous other short breaks, I worked straight from 9 am to 9 pm. Normally I take a 2-hour or so break sometime in the afternoon. I got a bunch of stuff accomplished though! I finished reading Bruchko and the Motilone miracle, which was the last book I needed to read for one of my electives. I also finished writing all of the Peru journal entries for my Peru album. After finishing up the journals, I picked out all the pictures that I need for the journal. After I got all done with the Peru stuff, I was like “Oh man, I really miss Peru!”
The last thing that I worked on was reading a bike repair guide, which is one of the last two parts I need to accomplish to finish up another one of my electives. I listened to music the whole time I was working on the Peru project, which was nice. I made a playlist with a bunch of random stuff, like Hawk Nelson, Stellar Kart, The Afters, Skillet, Addison Road, David Crowder Band, etc. Tomorrow I’m going to finish up the bike book and put my bike back together. I still have 500 miles to ride before the year is over! Mike and I are going to Josh’s tomorrow, and Mike sat down with me like 5 different times to figure out money stuff for the new bike he’s going to buy. I’m either going to get pegged by Josh or vice versa on the way to the bike shops, and then I’ll ride the Diamondback on the way back to Josh’s. The family started watching a movie called “Princess Caraboo” right around 8:30. I wasn’t going to watch a movie tonight anyway, and I had already seen this movie before, which doubled my resolve. I had seen it like probably 8 years ago, and Mike didn’t remember. So I told him what the ending was, and told him to check it against the movie. He came down after the movie was over, but I was asleep. How then, do I know he came down, you might ask? Well, it’s quite simple really. He came down the stairs like a herd of buffalo and woke me up! In my drowsy state of mind I was thinking “Oh man, here he comes to talk about his bike money AGAIN!” So I faked being asleep and he bought it.
