Wake Up, Chores, School. That sums up my morning. Dad, mom and I all headed over to Fremont around 1. I drove, which was a new thing for mom, considering the fact that she hasn’t really driven with me on big roads before. I sat at one of the library computers for like 2 hours, doing a bunch of different stuff. I worked on eBay stuff, updated my blog, did some work on my blog, and wrote 3 papers for school. This whole Peru album thing is slowly beginning to take form. I can’t wait to see it when it’s done. I’m guessing that it’s going to be much bigger than my Brazil trip journal. It’ll probably be more like the size of our cross-country trip album! I had to mail a couple of packages, so I drove over to the post office after we were done at the library. I like the parking lot at the post office because it’s kinda tricky.
More school, more school, until 6:05 rolled around. Dinner was comprised of some sort of noodles in broth. The broth left a residue in my mouth, similar to the residue that you get after eating Cap’n Crunch. Bleck! More school, more school. Then 6:45 rolled around and it was time to head over to the church for basketball. Ohhh yeeeaah! I stuffed 2 guys, one of which was Brent, so that was like whatever, but the other guy was Kyle’s police officer friend. Oh yeeeaah!
I got home and headed down to the basement to hit the books again. I grabbed a highlighter and was about to cross an item off my school list for the week, (which is posted on one of the basement walls), and all of a sudden I saw a baby cricket crawling on the wall! Not so good! I ran over to my incubator, opened the lid, and there were TONS of baby crickets all over the incubator! Apparently they were able to escape out the air-holes that were in the egg cups! A bunch of the baby crickets had escaped out of the incubator. The spiders in my basement did a pretty good job of catching them as they came out. I am definitely using escape-proof containers next time! Holy smokes!
