Josh Danielson and I tried to go caving this morning, but it ended up that the cave entrance had been blocked off by the city. We searched around for roughly 2 hours. We found two spots that may have been the entrance. One was a hole that we were able to tunnel into about 5 feet. I was able to belly crawl my way in until only my boots were sticking out, but it was pretty well blocked off. The other possiblity was just completely blocked off. I was only 75% sure we were going to be able to go there anyway, so I already had a plan B.

We ended up going to Wildcat Mountain State Park, which was pretty cool. I talked to the rangers about caves in the area, and after a little research they were able to give me a list of references to check. We checked out the overlook, the ice cave, and then a trail called "Old Settler's Trail". It was pretty neat. We got about 4 miles of snow-hiking in total. It was neat to see all the cool rock formations that God created. It was pretty cool!
