SAT Prep

I'm sitting here at the library in one of the study rooms, taking a practice SAT. I've been here for 4 1/2 hours. Pretty crazy. I definitely have a better grip on the math than I did last time I took this! Mike and I got up at 5 am this morning to go shovel driveways. We worked from 5:30 until 11:30 or so. It was crazy! We did 7 driveways including our own. No snowblowers either this year (so far), just 2 men and 2 shovels! I really enjoyed it. It was a great first work day of the season! Not too easy, not to hard, a very nice balance.

I'm kinda curious what that big huge thud was. If I was at home, a big huge thud would be very commonplace, but here in a library it's a bit more odd. The vending machine here has basically nothing. I opted for raisinets. I'm in this big room with a whole bunch of armchairs, tables, and regular chairs. It's like so deadly quiet that if I make any sort of noise it sounds like a thunderclap. I'm going to walk over to Wendy's and get a burger in a little bit. Then I'm going to walk over to church and play some basketball until like 9. After I'm done with that, I'm planning on going home, making popcorn, and then hitting the couch. I'm going to retire at a decent hour (10:00) today. No need to kill myself.

The picture? That's me eating blackberry pie at Grandma's on Thanksgiving (after cleaning the gutters, oh yeah, nothing like coming in to pie after working in the cold!).
