Epic Week

This week has been so packed with stuff; it has been insane! Monday started out at 6 am with a bunch of school, then I cleaned/detailed 3 vacuum cleaners, set up a robot vacuum, and put together a carpet cleaner. Then it was back to my house to do school. I got back to my house, worked on school, and then I went to the library with my dad. We got back to the house, I worked on school for a little bit, and then it was time to head out to the church for a couple hours of basketball. We played basketball from 7-9, and it was pretty awesome. I got smashed into by a guy who resembled a pitbull and a guy who is about 3 times my size. I got home, and yep, you guessed it, I worked on school again! No wait, that was Wednesday that I went to the library. Monday afternoon I went to Target and Dominicks. Yep, I drove the van, and I parked it in some really tight spaces. I love driving that thing! I got all kinds of pop and candy at Target and Dominicks, and I did school until like 11.

Tuesday I woke up late and then headed down to Chicago to give food and scarves out to homeless people. That took most of the day, mostly because it was snowing really bad. It took us 5 hours to get home from Chicago, instead of the normal hour. That was really crazy. I slept a bunch of the way...or tried to.

Wednesday morning Mike and I got up at 5 am and shoveled driveways until about 12. After that I went to Target and Dominicks. I drove the van, and I parked it in some really tight spaces. I love driving that thing! I got all kinds of pop and candy at Target and Dominicks, and I did school until like 11 pm. But before I began my school, Mike and I hooked a sled to his tractor, and he pulled me all around the neighborhood. It was so much fun, especially in the little round sled! Later that night we took Joey for a ride, and then Jakob and I went on at the same time. Then Jakob got 1st degree frostbite, which wasn't cool at all.

Thursday Mike and I slept in almost until it was time to leave for Grandma's, only to find out that it was alright if we skipped decorating Grandma's house in favor of shoveling people out of the massive snowstorm that was imminent. So Mike and I cleaned the house up nice and dandy, and then went outside and hooked up the tractor again. Skyler finally got here around 7:30 or so, and I made dinner. Although I didn't end up making dinner until after talking to to of my good friends, Margaret and Alyssa. All of my family was gone except for Mike and I. My parents were shopping, and the kids were down at Grandma's for the next couple of days! OH YEAAAH! So I made dinner, and then Mike, Skyler, and I watched "Back on Board". It was pretty awesome. I want a surf-riding grandpa!

Then Friday the 3 of us got up around 6:30, started shoveling the 8 inches of snow from peoples driveways around 8:30. We didn't end up finishing until 8:30 PM. Yep, that's a full 12 hours of work, for a total of 11 & 7/8 driveways. What in the world is the 7/8? Our van was in the driveway. We sat around for awhile after finishing up, just talking and drinking hot cocoa, waiting for my parents to get home. Then we took Skyler home, and I collapsed into bed.

Nothing overly special today, I just got up, made breakfast, received the Dickson's into my crazy clean house, paid Jakob and Joel, hurt a little kid by tackling into the snow a bit too hard, eating awesome bread, pasta, and Code Red Mountain Dew.

I gotta get outta here 'cause the library is closing, but I'm walking over to Starbucks to post pictures. And maybe I'll stop by Target first to get some food and presents... It's dark, cold, and maybe even a bit snowy, and it's a mile or 2 there. YES!
