Variety is the Spice of Life

I rolled out of bed around 9:30 this morning, and I did not feel like getting out of bed AT ALL. This was in no small way due to the fact that I had some difficult math to do today. Nevertheless, I decided to face the day instead of rolling over and going back to sleep! I ended up understanding this difficult math a lot better this morning, maybe because it was my 3rd time doing the lesson!

My dad and mom left around 1, and I told my dad that I was probably going to go for a little bike ride, if the weather holds. My dad glanced outside, and saw beautiful sunny blue skies, with not a cloud in sight, and said “yeah, the weather should hold”. So sometime around 3 I kicked off for the library. Nothing eventful happened during the ride up to the library, nor while I was at the library. I ended up taking a different leg of the path home than I normally take, just for variety’s sake. I’ve put in roughly 48 miles this week. I’m planning on doing about 30 tomorrow, if I can get my mountain bike functioning.

Once I got home I worked on cleaning up my hard drive, and then it was time to head down to Chipotle. We have a tradition in the Bryant family that every year we dress up in tin foil as burritos so that we can get a free burrito at Chipotle. Yes, each and every one of us gets a big old burrito just for looking like an idiot for 5 minutes. Every year as I’m putting on tin foil I think “Why in the world am I doing this…Mmmm, that burrito is gonna be good!”

I got back to the house, made myself some popcorn, and watched a couple of episodes of Dr. Quinn. Up until like 5 minutes ago I’ve been cleaning up my hard drive; organizing files and such. It’s now like 1:12 AM, which means it’s tomorrow, and I should probably get some sleep!
