Hey, look at that freak riding his bike and singing MxPx! (For 11/13)

I was awakened by my parents yelling down the stairs to me at like 6:45 AM. They were alerting me to the fact that they were leaving. I mumbled (loudly) “Alright!” Then I rolled back over. I ended up getting up soon after, and of course did all my regular morning stuff. “You gotta remember...where ya been, and where ya where you wanna go.” Sorry, I’m listening to MxPx right now. I’ve started out my mornings the past week or so by listening to the DVD I have of theirs.

Anyway…I worked on school until like 3. Then I donned warm clothing, loaded all my files onto the flash drive, and hopped on my bike. Well, actually it wasn’t really a hop, more like a kick and jump move. I was singing Mxpx on my way up to the library. I got up there and started chatting with Joylynn and Melinda. It started getting dark early because of the cloud cover, so I told Joylynn “Well, I should probably go in like 5 minutes.” Then I jokingly said “If I don’t get out of here soon my parents will come and pick me up!” 2 minutes later I look up and my dad is on one of the other computers! Hahaha! So I sign off and grab my backpack. I headed over to where he was, and he was gone! So I went out, thinking “He’s going to pull up in the car and try to surprise me”. So I’m unlocking my bike, no dad, hahaha! I got on my bike and checked the parking lot for the car, and he wasn’t there! I guess he wasn’t there to get me! I just started cracking up over the whole deal. I called Joylynn because I figured she’d get a kick out of it too. She did. So I ended up riding home in the dark. It was really windy, and it was kinda sprinkling. When I got to the spot where I have to ride through where the coyotes are, I was debating whether to ride through or detour around. I decided to cast fear to the wind and go through. I was kinda nervous…and loving every minute of it!

I got home, cleaned up all my animal cages, and then watched the Get Smart movie. Quite honestly, it was a boatload of crap. After the movie I finished cleaning my area in the basement and then hit the couch with popcorn and my book. Frodo (Mike’s bearded dragon) is trying to climb up a glass wall to escape. It isn’t working out so well for him.
