The coffee is waaaaaaaaaay awesome this morning! Dad got some kind of Dark, Bold Expresso roast. The bag has a picture with expresso (shot) glasses on it, so it makes me curious if this roast is meant to be drunk in small quantities (as I take a swig from my big coffee mug!). I haven’t had coffee this strong since Margaret gave us a pack of Brazilian coffee!

This morning I had a nasty algebra review test to deal with. Because of the way my school schedule has panned out, I haven’t done algebra for almost a year, so trying to remember that stuff was kind of annoying. I did an even bigger review test yesterday, and I did it without studying…yeah, wasn’t cool! I studied a bit for this morning’s test, and cleared up a couple of things that I didn’t remember, like y = mx + b. They gave me a couple of “challenge” problems at the end of the test, and I realized after I started the next lesson that I completely bombed them! Oh well…

So yeah, I worked on algebra until 3 or so, and then I had to go walk the dog. After I walked the dog I sat down to do algebra again. Bored out of my mind, I decided to give Danielle a call. We talked (read: laughed) for a half hour or so, mostly about PetSmart, animals, mutual friends, the extra shelf that you get when your stomach expands because you’re pregnant, etc, etc. It was good to laugh! She’s still got the 2 DVD’s that I let her borrow. I forgot them in Mike’s car last time we got together. I’ve wanted to watch Secondhand Lions so many times since I did that! Oh well, chalk it up to my own stupidity.

After awhile I headed outside to do some BMX’ing. I set up 2 recycle bins and table-topped them. It was pretty cool. Mike and I are planning on taking some video clips tomorrow. I want to go over to the neighborhood clubhouse thing, ‘cause it’s got some stairs and a gap that we could do. The only thing is getting the tri-pod and the parent’s camera over there. I discovered that Windows Movie Maker likes my parent’s camera’s video format, so we’ll be using that for any video work in the future! Dad and I are fah sure picking up Joylynn and Ploy on Monday night, right after basketball. That should be pretty fun.

After discussing the plans for when Joylynn and Ploy are here (laughs), I headed over to Jakob’s house. We played 21, and his friend kicked my bum. I gotta admit, the kid is good! Then we went inside and played Ghost Recon. Then my phone started playing “Hearts of the Innocent”, and it was time to go eat pizza. I sat down and watched part of some stupid movie about a president’s daughter while I ate my pizza. They turned that off and turned on Green Acres. Not in the mood for such a show, I unloaded the dishes and headed downstairs for to hang out with Dirk Pitt. So ends a good day.
