“40 To Life” by Dave Jackson (Check it out!)

I woke up late this morning, a few minutes before mom yelled down the stairs “Kelly, are you up?” So I decided it was time to extract myself from the couch. I picked up the book I’m reading for school right now, hit the couch again, and read for an hour and a half. The book I was reading is called “40 To Life”. I’ll have a book report up on here soon. Listening to Showbread “Mouth Like A Magazine” at the moment. After awhile I got up and did my chores and grabbed a pot of coffee. I picked up the book again and read until like 3:30, with a few brief food breaks. I left for the library on my bike right at 3:43. I got chased by a vicious giant of a dog on my way there. Actually, it was a Chihuahua, and it ran in terror after I stopped my bike. Must’ve been my gotee. It’s weird how much of a difference there is in the clientele that frequent the respective libraries that I go to. I’m growing to like Round Lake a lot more, at least for using the internet. I especially enjoy the exposure to Spanish. I spent a few minutes at the library and then raced back to our neighborhood to baby-sit Connor. I was supposed to be at his house at 5:00. I flew into his driveway, walked in the door, and looked at the clock: 4:59. Ka-chow! One problem: The house is silent. Why aren’t there people here? I’ve already lost him! I let the dog out and waited 5 minutes. Then it hit me: He’s probably over at my house hanging out with Mike and the group of young boys that congregate there. Sure enough, there he was. When we came back to the house we found that Cherry had eaten the cookies that were on the counter. Shoot! I was gonna snag one of those…So we made 8 more while we were doing math homework. We couldn’t wait the whole 13 minutes, so we ate a couple uncooked. Cookie dough is amazing! Mike and I bought a roll when we were waiting for Josh last Friday. We sat out in front of Dominick’s and ate cookie dough, just like old times! Man, that stuff is so rich! I was flying while we were waiting for Josh’s bus! Hmmm, I should probably put away this bowl of pirogues that I drowned in red sauce.

Nope, haven't shaved the gotee since I was in Peru. Shaved the sides, but not the gotee.
