Mike's Sweet New Toy

Mike got an Epiphone SG guitar while I was in Peru. I've been having a lot of fun with that baby! Right now I'm working on learning "Hello" by Hawk Nelson. The solo was a lot easier than I expected.

Mike, Jakob and I all rode up to White Castle today for lunch. Then we went to Target and Mike picked up an iPod Shuffle. Then the fun began! I twisted their arms and convinced 'em to go "the long route" home. The direct route is 4 miles. We took the scenic route through Lakewood Forest Preserve, which ended up giving us about 12 miles. So our total mileage for today was just over 16 miles.

Mike and I are supposed to be going down to Chicago to hang out with some friends sometime this week. Chuck called me today and proposed that Mike and I stay at his house Friday and Saturday night, since we have to leave for rock climbing at like 5:30am Saturday morning, and we won't get back until like 9pm or later. Sounds good to me! Now I just gotta clear it through the parents! My parents redeemed the new Third Day cd that they pre-bought for me on my birthday. I'm listening to it right now, and it is pretty sweet! I'm entertaining the idea of doing a cd review on it...

Yeah, but you know what's even grosser? The gas that comes a few hours later and doesn't stop the whole night! Anyway...
