My day begun with a flying leap off of the top bunk. After turning off the alarm, I staggered around half-dazed. Then, I remembered that I was going riding with Chuck! I got ready, then gave him a call at 7:15 or so. Luckily, he was awake and I was able to verify that we were still riding. Then I called Kathy and asked to borrow her road bike. To my surprise, she was expecting my call, and told me I could just go in the garage and pull it out. So then I called Chuck back and told him I was coming. After that I crept downstairs so that I didn't wake anybody up. As I'm grabbing the milk out of the fridge, I hear loud banging in the garage. So I go over and open the garage door, half expecting to see a coyote in the garage. Well, it wasn't a coyote, it was Dad and Brent cleaning out the garage. So I ate breakfast and then we left. After we picked up the bike, Dad pulled over and let me drive to Chuck's house, IN THE VAN! That was pretty awesome; I've never driven the van out and about before.
So yeah, then Tim, Chuck, and I drove up to Wisconsin. We stopped at some forest preserve thing and then rode a 37 mile bike ride. I felt pretty good, and since it was just the 3 of us we were able to cruise along at a pretty good pace. There were a bunch of small hills, which was pretty fun. We also went through that little stretch that Kent and I were "racing" on last Saturday. (Kelly laughs an evil laugh, hehehe!) Then near the end of the ride I was in front and we were flying along at like 18 mph. Well, we came to an intersection and Tim told me to go straight. I was like "OK!", and then started pushing forward. I look back real quick and see that Tim and Chuck turned left! By that time they were half a mile ahead of me! Yeah, that's Tim's idea of a joke. Actually, I did think it was pretty funny. Then I caught up to them. THEN I smoked past Tim on this big hill, hehehe!
Then of course we went out for lunch at the place that has the massive slices of pizza. Seriously, these are 2-handers! Then Tim took me home, barged into the house, and made the kids clean the house. Pretty awesome day!

hehehe...i must say you summed that up pretty well and the whole "go straight" is just...genius :-p
Although...it is a good thing that you smoked past them in return :)
oh my goodness, that post made me miss you so much!
Seriously, I could just hear you saying it. Then I remembered the bus ride to the airport, when we were "on" guaranA, and how we found the name of that town so funny (penal). hehe.
It still makes me laugh. We were so hyper!
How's your summer been??
