Graduation Party

Yesterday was Jakob’s graduation party. I pretty much rolled out of bed and went over to his house to help set up. Well, not quite. They gave me a bit of a hard time because I took so long. I got myself ready, and then I had to load the dishes. I did place helping set up for the party as a high priority, demonstrated by the fact that I brought my coffee over there. It was a bit windy, which made it very interesting to set up the canopy thing, let alone keep it on the ground!

The party was a lot of fun. Jakob has some very funny relatives. The Stiefel family challenged the class of 08/random teens to volleyball. We killed ‘em! Jakob’s aunt was really funny. She kept yelling stuff over at us, and then we’d yell back, it was fun!

About 6:30 a bunch of Jakob’s friends from school showed up. This big dude named Marcus wanted to start a wrestling tournament. So, of course I said I’d be up for it. I was totally thinking that I was going to get the snot beaten outta me cause this guy is BIG! He’s probably about 6 foot, and really husky. I beat him, and pretty bad too! It was fun. He asked me if I had wrestled before, like on a team. I haven’t.
