Today was a fairly normal day, except for the fact that I ended up canceling small group. Skyler was the only one who was able to show up, so we just hung out for awhile, and then we watched “Last Flight Out.” It was pretty fun, and we ate like a whole pan of O’Henry bars between the 3 of us.
Mike V had a really cool illustration about Old Testament faith yesterday. He portrayed faith in animal sacrifices removing sin as a credit card. Like when we go to Best Buy and purchase an HD TV with our credit card. As far as Best Buy is concerned, the item is paid for. But we still have to pay off our debt. Animal sacrifices were the credit card that covered the gap between Adam & Christ. As far as Abraham was concerned, the sin was taken care of, but God still had to pay off the debt with His Son’s death.

That is too bad about small group but hey at least you got to watch last flight out! I really need to watch that movie again!
That is a really neat illustration. Isn't it great how Jesus paid it all :) We serve such a wonderful Lord!
I hope you have a good night and maybe we can talk...sometime!

Actually, scratch that.
It's a toss up between that one and The Art of Breaking.
