Bracelet's & Bike Rides

Today was an incredibly packed day! The morning began at 6 am, eating breakfast and getting ready for church. First thing I got to church I had to set up all the whole wordless-book bracelet supplies. Pat told the people from the vision team to just leave the tables and chairs out in the 180 room, so that made it a bit easier. After service I made my way downstairs and started preparing for a mob of bracelet-makers. The bracelet-making group was made up of the teen-girls Sunday school class, the teen guys Sunday school class, the K-5 class, and all of the teachers. After the group got situated I told the wordless book story, and then we hacked into the bracelets! These people worked great as a production line team! We got a little over 230 bracelets done. Pretty cool!

Then the afternoon began! Today was the family bike ride on the Millennium trail. Mom didn’t end up going because she had a haircut appointment. Chuck let me use his hybrid because he wasn’t going and I needed a bike. That thing is awesome! One of the tires on Dad’s bike trailer popped halfway through the ride, so he had to sit and wait with Eleesa and Brandon. Other than that, it was a very enjoyable ride. The section of Millennium trail that we went through has several sizeable hills, which was fun.
