To Max's House We Go

Mike and I biked up to Max's house yesterday. It's only about a twenty minute ride north on the bike trail, but it took us about thirty minutes. Mr. Ayers had told us about a dirt path that they take that crosses over to where the bike path starts on terra cotta. So we went that way, and it would have been a great time-saver, except for the fact that it had rained the night before. Mud. Tons of it. The path was not even bikerideable. So we rode behind the stores and then picked up the bike trail on the other side of main street. It was a really fun ride, especially since there are a bunch of hills once you hit the veterans acres section of the trail. I can just feel it now, WHAAAAAAA! I just got a new bike on Friday, so this was kind of the initiation ride. It's pretty awesome, but the chain skips every once and a while, so I gotta do some work on it.
