Well, lot's of things actually! Here's a few: I took a practice SAT last monday, scored quite well in reading and writing, but bombed math. So I put in like 18 hours of math review over Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Then I went to the library on Friday and took another practice SAT. And I got the EXACT SAME SCORE ON MATH! Oh well!
Besides taking the practice SAT on Friday, I walked up to the library. There was about 2 inches of snow on the ground, and it was roughly 30 degrees out. It was a really cool 6 mile walk. A cool little bit of brain R & R. Pun intended. Then my parents forgot about picking me up, so I had to walk over to Ace Hardware and wait it out, because my mom doesn't want me walking home in the dark. I walked around the whole store (which is a Home Center, so about 3x the size of a normal Ace) like 3 1/2 times, up and down every single aisle. Of course, it wasn't totally boring, since I was talking to Ryker almost the whole time. Our conversation was basically about getting in trouble, being a good influence, and blowing things up.
I took the SAT on Saturday. The test itself was not that hard, except for some of the math, but it's just kinda long. I got up at like 6 am, ate breakfast, got ready, and got to the test site (Mundelein H.S.) by 7:25 or so. The whole testing thing got all wrapped up around 12:30. My mom picked me up, and I only had an hour to relax before I had to go shovel with Mike and Skyler. We worked until 6:30, drove Skyler home, and then it was winddown time. Ok, not quite. Dad, Mike and I went to Fox Lake to get some stuff done at Jewel. Then I got a free Caramel Machiato at Starbucks, then we all got Wendy's, and then we did a massive donut in the parking lot of Home Depot. We finally got home and I hit the couch with popcorn and a Kurt Austin book.
After church Mike and I grabbed the keys to the cars and ran outside. We dropped our junk off by Chuck's van, and then the fun began. There was like 2 cars in the main section of the parking lot, and most of the parking lot was iced over. Mike had the van, and I had the Lexus. We did all knds of power-slides and stuff. There was basically an oval track that we were driving around. It was so awesome! At one point we were racing around this track really fast and doing major powers slides around the curves! It was awesome. And then of course we parked them up front and walked inside looking totally innocent.
That's pretty much the major highlights of the past week or so. Pretty awesome, eh?
