Another Nice Walk

I'm at the hood library right now. I walked all the way here. It was pretty awesome. There's all kinds of ice and snow on the ground, and the wind was screaming like a freight train. Near the end I had worked up a pretty good sweat. I was hoping I'd see a coyote, but alas, it was not to be.

Mike and I watched Prince Caspian last night (after we watched "Fred Clause" with the family) Despite the public uproar about Susan kissing Prince Caspian at the end, I thought it was a pretty sweet movie. Seriously, I had like 17 people tell me that the kiss at the end was so stupid. I guess it was, but that didn't spoil the movie for me. We got finished around 1 am, and I ended up getting up and around by 8 am.

I'm hoping to be done with the grunt work of algebra by this next friday. There's finally a light at the end of the tunnel! It's taken me a lot longer than I thought it would, but hey, it's my hardest subject! The only thing I have to do to complete the entire class is have the quizzes corrected, re-worked and graded. I'm not going to worry about that at this point though, I'm just going to keep pressing on with regular schoolwork. I probably won't worry about finishing algebra until I get back from Papua New Guinea. Unless of course I have the urgent desire to crunch a whole bunch of numbers! I'm planning on spending "winter break" doing a whole bunch of college research, planning, applications, etc. My guess is that I will end up at Kuyper College in Michigan. I'll probably do some sort of Bible major there and then go on to TETM after that.

Abby got Chronicles of Narnia and Prince Caspien for her birthday. I haven't watched either of them yet.

We saw a sign for Kuyper the other day... it's like 2.5 hours from me, and only half an hour from my grandparents.
Which means, you will be visiting me at some point if you end up there =]

Yeah hey Alyssa, how often are you at your grandparent's house? 1/2 an hour is like nothing. Actually, as long as I got music, 2 1/2 hours ain't bad either! Tell your mom it's kinda liker her face.

I'm at my grandparents probably once every couple of months.
And I'm at home the rest of the time =]
Have you applied yet?
Oh! Did you get my card in the mail?
Also, I bought some Passion Fruit juice (welch's) at the grocery store, and it tastes just like Nectar de MaracuyA!!!

You do know that Nectar de Maracuya is Spanish for Passion Fruit Juice right? I had Passion Fruit Juice in Brazil and I absolutely loved it. I've been trying to track it down in IL ever since, with zero luck.

"Have you applied yet" "No." (Kelly laughs) "I hear they want you to do that before you go to the school." Ahh, good times, good times!
