So I had one algebra lesson this morning that really threw me, and I had to watch the teacher do the problem like 4 times. It was a problem that involved dividing a polynomial by a polynomial. I don’t like division very much, and the teacher did a “refresher” regular division problem, and it was screwed up. So then she proceeded to do this polynomial by polynomial division problem this screwed up way. Normally I catch on very quickly to what she’s teaching, but this time I seriously re-wound 3 times, AFTER watching it once and studying the example problem AND the course notes. Never fear though, I did catch on to what she was doing.
So after working on algebra and stuff until like 2:30, I started preparing my stuff for the library. I hadn’t posted on this blog for awhile, mostly because of Joylynn and Ploy being around, so I had a lot of stuff to gather. Then of course there was the winter gear to put on, as it was flurrying outside. Yeah, it was THAT cold! It was kinda hard for me to judge how much stuff to put on, because I knew that I was going to be working up a sweat (and lots of body heat) biking 6 miles. So I opted for a t-shirt, a long john top, a hoodie, a beanie, and 2 pairs of gloves. I ended up throwing the big Gore-Tex gloves in my backpack after awhile because I got so warm, besides the fact that it’s mighty hard to draw a knife on a coyote with those big gloves on! Once I got to the library I had to wait for like a half an hour while they fixed the internet. I sat there looking at what I had on my camera card, and then I began contemplating a route to the other library. The ride back was pretty cool (I almost died twice; probably shouldn’t have cut off that van OR that truck…whoops). I actually felt warm enough to not be so dead-set on getting to my destination. I jumped over the cement median at Ace, and then I did the church stairs again. By the time I got home I was sweating up a storm.
Once I got home I made a batch of popcorn and settled down with a Dirk Pitt book. I was only going to read for about a half hour, just to kind of take a rest, but I had a headache, so I ended up just reading the rest of the night, and retiring early. But not before having a fantastic dinner of tuna noodle casserole while talking to my friendly Covenant College contact, April. I was actually able to learn more about Covenant College because she talked a lot (and very fast) about down-to-earth stuff, like about her experiences with the college and with choosing it. I found it a lot more helpful than my other experiences with college calls. I’m still leaning toward a Bible college as opposed to liberal arts though. Although…that part of Georgia is probably a sahweet place to bike!

hahaha. You're gonna throw down with a COYOTE!!!
Also, why would you go to school in GEORGIA when you could come to Michigan?!
Hey, you would not believe how many coyotes frequent the area of the path that I ride up to the "hood" library!
Georgia is just one of my options...besides, April's there. JUST KIDDING!
