Woke Up Late

I woke up late today, right around 8:15. I was hoping to go on a bike ride today, yet those dreams were shattered by my laziness. I was originally going to get up at like 6 am and get all my school done early. Oh well, now I’m planning that for tomorrow. And actually, I’ve only got 3 Spanish lessons and then some paperwork to finish up and then my Spanish class is DONE! After I get that stuff done I’ll probably end up doing a bike ride; shooting for 50 miles. I’ll need to check on the 2 iPods that I listed today. I went on a bike ride with Chuck and Tim on Monday. We did about 30-some miles with a bunch of sweet hills. After the bike ride I went with the family to the Irish Fest in Long Grove. On the way there I was thinking “Oh man, I really do not feel like going to this. This is going to be boring”. Well, turns out I actually enjoyed it! My favorite part was the music. I really, really enjoy Irish music. They had a bunch of Irish dancers that reminded me of when we were dancing down in Peru. That was awesome! I could totally see myself donning a kilt and doing some Irish dance for a talent show or something. Or a Flatfoot 56 song…

Listening to Nikki Clan at the moment. One of the many songs on the CD that Ben burnt me. Nice rockin’ music in Spanish. Mike was learning a song with a bunch of power chords today, and he asked me to show him what the names of the chords were. So I showed him, which of course I had to do with the guitar in my hands! I flipped the volume up to halfway on his 15 watt amp, and started rocking out the song that he was learning. It’s one of the songs on the Instruction Video that mom bought in some homeschool magazine. I haven’t played that song in forever! Well, it’s just about time for me to hit the hay. I’m sleeping on the couch in the basement again. I like sleeping down here cause it’s 2 steps away from where I do my school. So like tomorrow, I’m planning on getting up at 5 am and working on school. That way I should have a nice big chunk of school done by 12, at which time I plan to depart for a bike ride.
